About Our Class Names

Our Reception classes are named after famous composers, Andrew Lloyd-Webber and Hans Zimmer.

Andrew Lloyd-Webber was born in Britain in 1948 and is a Baron. He is famous for composing music for musical theatre. Some of the musicals he has composed are:

  • Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dream Coat (1968)
  • Evita (1976)
  • Cats (1981)
  • The Phantom of the Opera (1986)
  • Cinderella (2021)

Hans Zimmer was born in Germany in 1957. He is famous for composing music for films and television programmes. You might know his music from films such as:

  • The Lion King (1994)
  • Madagascar (2005)
  • Kung Fu Panda (2008)
  • The Boss Baby (2017)
